Profile Peng Zhang

Dr. Peng Zhang is currently a Professor of School of Water Conservancy and Transportation, Zhengzhou University. He is the Director of the Institute of Hydraulic Structures and Materials of Zhengzhou University. He is listed among World's Top 2% Scientists 2023. He has been rewarded as Distinguished Professor of Henan Province in China, Winner of Henan Province Outstanding Youth Fund in China, Academic & Technology Leader of Henan Province in China, Outstanding Talent in Water Conservancy in Central China, Leader of Scientific and Technological Innovation Team of Henan Province in China, Scientific and Technological Innovation Talents in Universities of Henan Province in China. His research interests include fiber and nano-particles reinforced high performance concrete and cementitious composites. He has authored/coauthored and published more than 220 technical papers and 8 books. As the principal investigator, he has hosted more than 15 research projects, which were sponsored by National Natural Sciences Foundation of China, Chinese Postdoctoral Science Special Foundation, Chinese Postdoctoral Science Foundation, Program for Science & Technology Innovation Talents in Universities of Henan Province of China, and so on. He has won three prizes of Ministry Science & Technology Awards and 15 other Science & Technology Awards.
