Abstract: Juvenile delinquent or deviant behavior appears in various forms in modern academic reality. It is widely known under the international term "school bullying". The systemic view of an educational organization as it studies the variety of school and social system parameters that explain and contribute to the emergence of problematic behaviors in schools positively contributes to a better understanding of that behaviors considered within the framework of interactions that generate and reproduce it. Qualitative literary works, by which this phenomenon is approached in a novel way and the "omnipotent narrator" dominates, provide the possibility of a holistic and systemic view and indirect aids in strategies for preventing, detecting and curing the offending incidents in modern schools.

The purpose of this paper is to connect the phenomenon of bullying appearing in teenage and children novels with the way that texts could illuminate and enlighten youth consciousness in order to become safe guides or useful paradigms in their everyday life. The texts examined under present study are the novels (a) Thirteen Reasons Why, by Jay Asher (b) Finding Audrey, by Sophie Kinsella and (c) Together, by Eleni Priοvolou.

Abstract: The article deals with greetings – as one of the speech genres, functioning in every language. Despite the universality of this speech genre, there are differences and peculiarities of its forms for various cultures. Of the great amount of greeting formulas functioning in the Russian, Tatar and Chinese languages the authors chose the most common three types. The formal-constructive, communicative-pragmatic and semantic characteristics are taken into consideration for a comparative analysis of the chosen units. The authors also attempted at providing a culturological interpretation of them. There are, on the one hand, greetings that are very similar in meanings among the linguocultures presented; on the other hand, there are nationally specific forms, which reflect the originality of the native speakers, their cultural traditions and axiological orientations. The study of greetings can give a key to understanding the nations’ worldview structure, the traits of mentality, as well as be a basis for successful relationships in cross-culture communication.

DOI: https://doi.org/10.6000/1929-4409.2020.09.124

Published: 09 November 2020

Abstract: The study specified in this article is devoted to an important problem in the modern state management practice of Russia - the study of conflict resolution of such a politically significant institute as lobbist organizations. The authors consider the phenomenon from a socio-economic, organizational, political perspective, which is categorized through the conceptual series “government relations - public administration - political institute” and is scientifically justified. The analysis methodology is based on the symbiosis of the neoinstitutional approach and game theory (continuous games) with the rent-oriented behavior of players. The urgency of the problems of lobbist organizations is due to the prolonged political and managerial crisis, both in Europe, the USA and in the countries of Asia. The scientific novelty of this paper is determined by the use of the neoinstitutional approach and the theory of games with the rent-oriented behavior of players as the fundamental methodological direction of the symbiosis when considering lobbist organizations as conflict resolution institutes with all the functions and rules of behavior in a political game inherent in them. The study will be based on the use of such empirical methods as analysis of documents and cases, which justifies the use of a qualitative methodology. The article is one of the first in Russian empirical practice related to the problem of lobbist organizations and, undoubtedly, will make a significant contribution to the study of the conflict logical specific nature of this socio-political institute. The article is part of the grant of the Russian Foundation for Basic Research No. 19-011-31376opn “Conflict logical audit as a system of technologies for influencing ideological youth extremism in modern Russia”.
