EnderBrief profile:

Chemical Engineer with experience in research and development of thermal barriers coatings (TBCs) and environmental barriers coatings (EBCs) such as zirconia (ZrO2), yttria-stabilized zirconia (YSZ) and silicon carbide (SiC), obtained using Plasma-Enhanced Chemical Vapor Deposition (PE-CVD) technique for the protection of metallic structures (steels and nickel alloys). Characterization of their mechanical properties, thermal and mass behavior of ceramic precursors, microstructure and phase content using advanced techniques such as thermogravimetric analysis, differential thermal analysis, mass spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy coupled with energy dispersive spectroscopy, focused ions, grazing incidence X-ray diffraction and Raman spectroscopy.

Also have experience in research and development of alkaline cements formulated 100% from urban, industrial and agricultural wastes, such as blast furnace slag, urban waste glass, sugar cane bagasse ash, rice husk ash, pumice, among others. Characterization of its mechanical properties, microstructure and reaction products using advanced techniques such as scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction and infrared spectroscopy.
